So recently I ventured to a town called Battle in Sussex to sell some jewellery at a weekend music festival there. It was a fun experience as I had never been to a music festival before and I could definately see why many people love them. However this particular festival, The Big Green Cardigan was not like many others. For one it was very small and also it was very civilised, attracting a lot of people who were significantly older than me :-)

I loved it though as I was surrounded by the lush rolling hills of the country side and had the opportunity to have a bit if a break from my normal working routine back in Brighton. I found it to be a very relaxing event to sell at, the music was good, the food too.

Above all I made some good friends with some of the other stall holders and met many interesting people. It was a bit of a daunting experience as I went on my own but I am glad that I did. I was proud of myself for putting up the tent and marquee myself and got a bit of much needed me time whilst I was there.

Also of course I did sell lots of my jewellery…my quirky creations seemed to go down well with all the festival goers!

I would happily go again.
